How does the Tatum 5 fit compared to most sneakers?

The Tatum 5 uses a standard lace-up fit with an added strap for a more locked-in feel. This colorway has a laced upper with a velcro strap, which lets you fine-tune midfoot security beyond just the laces. If you are between sizes or prefer extra room, focus on how snug you want the strap to sit across the top of your foot when you tighten it.

What makes the strap useful on this shoe?

The strap adds a second point of adjustment so the shoe can feel more secure across the midfoot. On the Tatum 5 sold by CORPORATE, the closure combines traditional laces with a velcro strap. That setup is helpful if you like to keep the forefoot comfortable while still tightening the midfoot for stability.

What materials are visible on the upper and sole?

The shoe shows a mix of textile-style upper panels and a rubber outsole. In the product photos, the upper has textured, floral-inspired patterning and the bottom uses a contrasting rubber sole. If you care about long-term wear, focus on keeping the textured upper clean so the pattern stays sharp.

How should I clean the dark brown and red colorway?

Clean it with a soft brush and mild soap, then air-dry away from direct heat. The Tatum 5 (Legend Dk Brown/University Red) has a textured upper, so a gentle brush helps lift dirt without flattening the pattern. For spot cleaning, use as little water as possible and avoid harsh cleaners that can lighten darker tones.

How does this colorway look in person under normal light?

It reads as a dark brown base with contrasting red accents, with texture that stands out more as light hits the side panels. The studio photos show floral-inspired patterning that gives the brown upper more depth than a flat finish. If you like subtle color, this pair stays mostly neutral until the red details catch your eye.

What should I know about buying this as an adult pair?

This listing is an adult product intended for men, not a grade-school version. The catalog classifies the product type as MEN and the age group as adult, which helps if you are comparing sizing and build between adult and youth releases. If you normally buy youth sizing, plan to use your usual adult size reference instead.

How can I avoid order cancellations related to bots?

Orders tied to bot-style services or back links may be canceled at the seller's discretion. CORPORATE states that purchases made with bot-type services and back links can be canceled, and that controlling a buyer's bot is not the store's responsibility. For the cleanest checkout, place your order manually from your own device and network.

Are there any cancellations allowed for launch date orders?

No, release or launch date orders are not eligible for returns or cancellations for any reason. That rule is stated for launch-date product on the CORPORATE product page. If you are unsure on sizing or whether you want the colorway, decide before you place the order.

What details help distinguish this from simpler brown sneakers?

The textured, patterned side panels and the lace-plus-strap closure give it a more technical look than a plain brown upper. The rear view also shows a reinforced heel area and a shaped sole profile, which changes the silhouette from basic cupsole styles. If you want a darker sneaker that still has visual detail, the patterning is the main tell.

What type of closure does this shoe use?

It uses laces plus a velcro strap across the upper. The Tatum 5 (Legend Dk Brown/University Red) sold by CORPORATE shows a laced upper with a strap, which lets you adjust fit in two places. If you like quick on-and-off, you can loosen laces slightly and use the strap to keep the shoe feeling secure.

How many product photos are provided for this colorway?

Three studio photos are provided, showing a side profile, an angled pair view, and a rear view. Those angles help you see the textured side patterning and the heel shape without guessing. If you are matching outfits, the rear view is useful for seeing how much red shows from behind.
